The company led by Mark Zuckerberg has launched its professional networking uk email list tool, which it has been working on for a long time; in fact, the project was born in 2014 while the first beta is from 2015 and has been tested by 400 large international companies, such as the Royal Bank of Scotland and Heineken.
The platform is a sort of social network dedicated to business with services specifically designed for companies but with a user experience similar to the Facebook we all know. Users, who can use their personal profile or create a new account, will have access to a News Feed, Groups, Events, live streaming, a specific version of Messenger and support for audio and video calls.
Since yesterday, it is possible to log in, register and fill out a short profile form, with which you authorize Facebook to activate the contact to define how to configure the service based on the needs of your company.
Facebook @workplace works with the same logic as the social network from which it derives: news feeds appear based on what is established by an algorithm that studies the user's behavior and interests, naturally based on their professional profile; individual and group chats are allowed; it is possible to share documents and post videos.

The difference compared to the social network is represented by the levels of security and administration tools, in addition, it goes without saying, to a more sober look and feel and the complete absence of advertising messages.
There is no correlation between professional and private user accounts, so much so that you don't need a Facebook account to use Facebook @workplace. But while it is true that companies do not have any access to their employees' personal pages via Facebook @workplace, it is equally true that they can measure the activities that each individual performs on the corporate social network.
