How have French management schools approached internationalisation, Mr Perrin?

Post by Suborna »

Thanks to Mr. Jacques Perrin, Secretary General of the Chapter of Management Schools in France within the Conference des Grandes Ecoles and Director of Higher Education and Development or Skills and Technical Groups of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nice/Côte d'Azur.

The Conference of Grandes Ecoles is a non-profit association of 135 engineering schools, 30 French management schools (grouped in the Chapter of Management Schools) and 15 diversified teaching-specialized and multi-teaching schools.

Grades Ecoles are institutions of higher education that are either under the brother cell phone list authority of the Ministry of Education and six other ministries, private, or the Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

According to Mr. Alain Cadix, President of the Conference of Grandes Ecoles, between 2000/2001, the Grandes Ecoles welcomed more than 16,000 foreign students. Students from 142 countries were involved. 57% of these students were welcomed in undergraduate programmes, and 23% of these in postgraduate programmes. In the context of the successful opening of the Masters Specialises, these comprise 22% of foreign students.

French management schools have been very active in internationalisation and welcoming foreign students.

Since the 1970s, we can see an academic strategy with many partner institutions signing exchange agreements.
