Faisal Azam Apu, Special Correspondent: An essay and painting competition on Chapainawabganj district branding was organized by the District Administration and District Government Public Library. The competition was organized as part of the branding strategy of each district under the initiative of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs with the aim of accelerating the development process of Bangladesh at Green View High School in the morning and 4 pm. Students from 8th to 10th class participated in the essay competition in 'A' group and other students including graduates, bathers and others participated in 'B' group.
A total of 90 students participated in the competition, c level contact list 50 in Group A and 40 in Group B. The students participated in a 30-minute competition on any one of the 6 topics related to the branding of Chapainawabganj. The topics of the essay competition were - Mango, Nakshi Kathan, Copper and Copper Teijsapatra, Historical Small Gold Mosque, Gambhira and Maskalaiyar Ruti. The judges of the essay competition were District Cultural Officer Farukur Rahman Faisal, Headmaster of Green View High School Roksana Ahmed, Librarian of the District Government Public Library Md. Masud Rana. Librarian of the District Government Public Library Md. Masud Rana said that the government has determined the branding for each district of Bangladesh. This competition has been organized to spread the branding of Chapainawabganj among the people of the district.
The judge of the competition and District Cultural Officer Farukur Rahman Faisal said, "Students from various educational institutions of the district participated in this competition freely and spontaneously. They presented the topics of branding very beautifully and excellently and their writing impressed me. They were able to reflect their talent and thinking through this competition."
The winners of the essay competition will be awarded at the awarding ceremony of the 4th National Development Fair to be held at the Harimohan Government High School grounds on Saturday, October 6.
