What is structured data?

To make it clearer, when we talk about structured data , we are talking about HTML code that is added to each URL on the website so that Google knows how to interpret the content of said URL, so that each URL can and should have a completely different code.
With this, what we achieve is that Google shows us in the search results in the following way:
Structured Data - Fun Cooking Recipes for Kids
If we analyze the URL of pequerecetas we can see that this URL contains the recipe structured data, with warnings, but with the necessary structured data.
Google Structured Data Tool
This code is not visible, it is invisible to the user.
How do they work?
In order to make your URLs appear in the results the way you want, we have different options:
JSON-LD : This is the way recommended by Google and the simplest to use if you work with a programmer, it's pure programming.
Microdata : These are HTML code structures. This method is usually used when you only want to work on certain points of your website, such as markup data for the contact page.
RDFa : This is the least common, like microdata, it uses code fragments.
Search Console : This is the most recommended if you don't know anything about dubai mobile number list programming or HTML, or if they don't let you touch the website.
For all the reasons mentioned above, I recommend that for this type of thing, you use a programmer who knows what he is doing, you will save hours of work and let's not forget that this is what Google recommends.
Examples of structured data
Don't think that this is something that doesn't evolve, Google is constantly making more advances in this field, hence the need to be aware of new changes.
For example, the social media one has become outdated, which indicates that it has no point in using it today.
An important fact: as you will see now, there are many structured data that can be used simultaneously on a website. The idea is not to apply them all, but to be aware of the possibilities.
If you see that your competition is using some of these elements and is in the top positions, do not hesitate to invest in these actions.
I am not going to comment on all the options available, but I will discuss the most interesting ones and the ones most used in the projects I work on.
