The Easter Egg Hunt Game
Our toolkit has over 30 features and some users find it difficult to keep up with new releases.
To help them, we launched an Easter game : we hid 15 Easter eggs among the different SEMrush tools and encouraged users to find them.
We created a landing page that explained the game mechanics, providing users with some tips on how to find the eggs.

Lesson learned!
When Easter came around, we revealed the game's keys, which also generated a lot of engagement among our community.
For example, some participants told us that despite using certain tools frequently, they did not find the eggs.
However, despite the difficulties of this thematic campaign, the results were excellent.
We achieved a 1.5 point increase in traffic on our tools!
We loved the idea of the Easter Egg game so much that we submitted it to the London SMM AWARDS as a low-budget campaign.
We didn't win, but we were still selected.

You already know how keyword research tools work, the more databases in different languages you have, the more reputation your product has.
At that time, our marketing goal was to attract users' attention to this product.
We tried different ways, but our competitors added new databases very frequently, which became a tough email list of switzerland businesses competition to win.
We thought and thought, until we finally came up with something really interesting.
Around the launch of the new season of Game of Thrones, we added the Dothraki language as a database to our keyword research tool, as well as creating a marketing campaign to promote it.
