On the other hand, the provinces that registered the most conversations were Trujillo, Chimbote and Cajamarca with 67 records, 21 mentions in Cusco and Huancayo and Junín with 19 mentions. The key conversations were on April 13 and 14 regarding the suspension of activities due to the first cases of COVID-19 among workers. On April 27, 28 and May 3 and 4, the same case of contagion stood out but with a greater magnitude of conversation on Twitter and digital media.
On the other hand, on June 1, a Twitter user unleashed comments inciting people to hold marches against resuming mining projects such as Tía María.
